MARK FLOMENHOFT

BIOGRAPHY

 

Mark Flomenhoft earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, a master’s from Princeton University, and a baccalaureate, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.  As a pioneer in electronic design automation (EDA), he spent 9 years as a research scientist at Bell Laboratories and a total of 35 years in engineering, management, and business development in the high-tech electronics industry.  Mark founded two EDA companies, led a technology partnerships program with major multinational companies in Europe and Japan, and managed venture investing by the microprocessor group at Intel.  Finally, he was Vice President of System-Level Design at Synopsis.  He was elected Chairman of the Computer Aided Design Technical Committee of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and to the Society's Board of Governors.  Mark co-founded AIFFL and serves as its Vice Chairman.
