Presentations

Every AIFFL event features up to three presentations. Entrepreneurs from three Florida-based companies that are actively seeking funding are provided 15 minutes each to present their investment opportunities and respond to a few questions from the audience.  The remainder of the event provides time for informal networking to encourage more detailed discussions with the presenters and other attendees.  AIFFL does not consider real estate related or mom and pop type businesses.

Become a Presenter 

Florida-based companies wishing to present at an upcoming AIFFL event need to complete the following process:

 

  • Register and Provide Your Company Information into the AngelSoft Link Below
    There is a $50 fee for this feature but it is required in order to be considered for presentation to AIFFL.  If you are not sure if your business is appropriate for AIFFL presentation, please see the next bullet item below.

  • Discuss Suitability and Details As Needed
    Contact AIFFL Executive Director and briefly discuss your business and investment opportunity.

  • Selection Confirmation and Date Options
    Confirm selection by AIFFL for presentation and discuss available dates.
    Selection notification normally provided within 5 days of receipt of Executive Summary information

  • Provide applicable payment in full to AIFFL
    Presentation dates are reserved upon receipt of payment and are assigned on a ‘first paid’ basis.  Click here  to pay your fee online by credit card.
  • Email your company logo
    Send us your logo as a jpg or gif attachment to marcy@aiffl along with the name and title of the presenter and name of your website. The sooner we receive your details, the sooner we can promote your presentation to our members.
  • Upload your Power Point presentation
    Please review the presentation guidelines here and then upload your presentation file no later than seven days prior to the event.

  • Confirm receipt of presentation by AIFFL
    Coordinate any remaining details/logistics at least two days before the scheduled event(s)
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes before the published arrival time - The presenter and one other person from each presenting company may attend without paying the dinner fee.  Additional people attending will be charged $25 each to cover the cost of the dinner.
  • Verify readiness of presentation with event host and receive briefing on AV equipment
    Also, bring a back-up copy of your presentation on a flash drive along with any other materials for distribution at the event.
  • Cancellations
    If a business cancels prior to two weeks before a scheduled presentation, AIFFL will refund all but $100 of the presentation fee paid by the business
    There will be no refunds to businesses who cancel within two weeks of their scheduled presentation date.
  • Post-presentation instructions
    Provide instructions to AIFFL Executive Director pertaining to posting of company presentation within Member Areas of AIFFL website.
